Minor Clarification: at 14:18 I raise the concerns about minors being the potential individuals using the orb. Everyone who claims their free share of Worldcoin has to be at least 16 years old to do so & 18 in most jurisdictions.

I really love this content, but I have to disagree with the general take on UBI presented in presented in this video. The example used was the American stimulus checks of 2020 which had its own specific outcomes. Just because the US has not come up with a workable model of UBI for its citizens does not mean that it can't or shouldn't be done. Perhaps if the rich and wealthy were taxed a fair share the middle class wouldn't be disappearing and UBI could work without so much of load coming from the middle class.
One day we may not have a choice. The flow of the government mandates point to total dominion. The Bible also points to it. Sorry to say. It says we may not buy or sell unless we have the mark of the beast. The beast is not the devil. It is the Government. Beasts would describe governments in the Bible. Therefore the mark is a government mark to have currency to your survival.

Sounds more like a fancy shit coin to me. I think I will stick with ones with more solid utility and direction.
This 100% could be used to treat homelessness. How many homeless people have an ID? How many have an address to have a birth certificate shipped to use to get an Id? Literally none. Love having an ID on you at all times, this would lift so many people off the streets. Coming as a person that spent a few years on the streets myself, the main problem is not being able to identify yourself for anything, literally always, come back with an ID.. and you'd just give up because you didn't have any means to get one. You guys are sooo pessimistic thinking this is some dystopian power grab, this could be used for so much good in the future if you just understood things on the right level.
implementing this stuff in 'developing countries', which have already been screwed over by the west multiple times – and insisting it is for the economical betterment of 'equality' 'opportunity' and 'progress' – is absolutely repugnantly evil
