๐Ÿ“ What’s Chainlink? ๐Ÿ“

Chainklink is a decentralised oracle community that gives offchain information to onchain sources. It mainly acts as middleware between two totally different environments and bridges the 2.

Chainlink is attempting to resolve many of those centralised dats points. By using what are known as “oracle node”, the Chainlink blockchain needs to develop a decentralised community of those oracles.

Chainlink additionally needs to supply an answer to attach totally different blockchains. Blockchain interoperability is a well-known drawback.

๐Ÿ’ฐ LINK Token Dynamics ๐Ÿ’ฐ

LINK token is an ERC677 token that was issued on the Ethereum blockchain. The max provide of LINK is 1 billion wiht about 35 p.c of that circulating.

LINK has two features within the community:

– Paid by good contract creators to reward node operators
– As a bond to run a chainlink node

The primary one might be seen as paying for information. These good contract creators are paying the node operators for the offchain information feeds that they’re offering.

Relating to LINK as a Bond, that is performed so as to gaurantee uptime from the nodes.

๐Ÿ“ˆ Community Development ๐Ÿ“ˆ

There was numerous development on the community. There was numerous chainlink node runs for instance. You even have a big diploma of the community that has been used for these runs. This reveals that the Chainlink community is getting used as supposed.

You even have quite a lot of demand for utilizing the Chainlink community that’s coming from these good contract creators. This reveals that the offchain information sources from the Chainlink blockchain are worthwhile to the good contract builders.

๐Ÿค Partnerships ๐Ÿค

Synthetix teamed up with Chainlink to carry decentralised value feeds to Etheruem. Chainlink’s oracle expertise was built-in into the Synthetix platform.

Bancor introduced earlier this 12 months that Bancor model 2 may have an automatic market maker liquidity pool which is able to use Chainlink’s value oracles.

The celcius community that has teamed up with Chainlink. They are going to use their Oracle’s to assist them decide their rates of interest in a decentralised method.

There has additionally been a latest announcement from two Tezos groups that they are going to be utilizing Chainlink’s community so as to reference offchain information in Tezos good contracts.

๐Ÿ“ˆ๏ธ Exchanges & Neighborhood ๐Ÿ“ˆ

They managed to secured a a lot coveted Coinbase Professional itemizing in June of final 12 months. The itemizing noticed an explosion in buying and selling quantity and value.

There are additionally a variety of different exchanges that they’re listed on together with the likes of Binance, Okex, Huobi, Bittrex and many others. There’s sturdy liquidity throughout these exchanges which signifies that LINK buying and selling is effectively structured.

  1. Exponentially increasing covid curve ๐Ÿ™‚ I watched this video twice still cannot understand WTF chainlink is but I want to run a node just because ๐Ÿ˜€

  2. just saw this tday. And missed out to buy Link when it was cheaper. Is Link a good long term investment at current price of 14 $? any views anyone

  3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8f0KJc4Lj3Y and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NG5kcgCJLpc how nice of TheBanker ๐Ÿ˜ฎ pity we are a year late chaps, lol no wonder some of the LINK marines say things like I WILL NOT READ
I only found this as of weeks ago thanks to LINK marines, have been doing deep diving on ISO 20022 for a few days here and there. This new standard is everything, and they are on track for Nov completion, going live SWIFT becomes realtime (!) which is a completely new world. I expect there will be 500B a day payments in no time going through the system and that is before you consider arbitrage across trading platforms. This is why banks holding peoples fiat/crypto gives them even more power, of course

  4. I came from the future to compliment you… You are right.
If people heard you at the time of the release of this video, they would've made around 400% profits in two months.

  5. I wanted to buy LINK at ยฃ4 but didnโ€™t have the funds at the time but am buying now at around ยฃ12 and although thatโ€™s a high price with reduced multiples Iโ€™m in for the long haul. Got ADA, VET, LINK and XRP. Iโ€™m only just starting to learn about crypto and think 4 coins will spread the risk nicely so roll on the bull run!

  6. So complicated sounds like a Ponzi. They can't even make their own main net. ERC tokens won't scale in the first place. What is the TPS? No mention. What are the business entities that are using it now? NONE!

  7. Hi, I am glad to find your videos, more comprehensive than many. A couple very important pieces of information that are missing though. Do you see any barriers to entry? In this space it seems that small teams of developers are developing these integrations, what prevents other major stakeholders with deeper pockets e.g. enterprise software, content services, financial services etc. from building a better version of this and the perceived value of this from imploding? The second important question is demonstrating actual adoption. Signing partnerships is something the new technology providers do but it can be empty paper meant to pump price at worst, at best it is a first good step but not to be confused with actual traction/adoption. The commitment of the other party to sign those is pretty low. The industry participants often do this with multiple technologies as the new vendor is hungry to prove and the industry participant is just covering the bases and place their bets with many vendors. What is important is to see pilot projects underway and with good results. To see actual usage/adoption coming out of those partnerships. Without these 2 important areas addressed these videos seem mostly focused on the general value prop (which agreed exists) and a discussion of artificially constrained supply and demand leading to price increase. that is all fine and good until a better alternative solution appears. It does seem like MLM where the product in the end isn't really adopted by end users, it is bought up by those excited about the business/investment opportunity buy up the product and their focus is getting the next investors/ distributors to do the same. The result is the people in early make money and those who buy in later end up with a garage full of shampoo. Any thoughts on why Chainlink has a defensible barrier to entry + signs of real adoption/use is most welcome as I do think the value prop is compelling!
