FP Markets is a Global CFD and Forex broker based in Australia.
They were established in 2005 so they are one of the oldest in the industry. They have grown to over 20,000 traders.
They offer Direct Market Access to over 10,000 equity instruments as well as raw ECN Forex spreads.
They take traders from around the world but do restrict those from the USA and Canada.

FP Markets is fully regulated by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission.
They also have a number of other client protections such as segregated accounts, capital reserves and dispute resolution protocols.

► Asset Coverage 💎
Over 10,000 instruments in total the bulk of which are the equities in their DMA accounts.
They also offer Commodities, Cryptocurrency and most of the major / minor forex pairs.

► Leverage ⚙️
Leverage on accounts will vary according to the asset and size of the position. Max leverage at FP Markets is 500:1 on Forex. They also offer 100:1 on commodities and 10:1 on their crypto.
Equity specific leverage will be displayed in the IRESS platform.

► Fees & Spreads 💸
Spreads on major forex pairs are close to 0 on the raw ECN account. They are slightly higher on the Standard account.
There will be a lot commission on the ECN raw account of $3 per round trip.
Funding the account for the Standard and Raw accounts is free although there are substantial fees for funding into the DMA account.
There are also bespoke data fees depending on the technology that you have (can be rebated).

Top notch broker that is full regulated with thin margins and extensive asset coverage. Great customer service makes the trading experience that much more pleasant.

have used fpm for some time…have found them Ok..would like to see more things to trade esp with commodities but they are a safe broker to be with
coin bureau….could you find out and do a review of CFD2fx…..this broker has approached and think your review would be INTERRESTING….!!!…they claim to top up your account by 100% and after 1 month you can take your money out and just trade with theirs……..YEAH RIGHT..!!!
Is the raw spread account and ecn are the same
I am still a member of fp Market, which I have not been active for a while but they still kept my account as it still got fund on it. They send a monthly statement every time. They are very legit and professional dealing with their customers.
Sadly they don't accept Canadians 😭

does it still allow people outside Australia to trade? As new ASIC regulation prohibits trading with Australian brokers when outside the Australian jurisdiction unless you have an AFSL licensing. I started my own investigation on many brokers and read in their legal information that they don't allow people outside Australia to trade. If you talk to many of those companies' customer support they would tell you that you are allowed to trade, but when quoting what they wrote on the legal information they would tell you that they don't accept clients outside of Australia.

You always have really good well resourced content. This was no exception 👍
Shocking platform and broker, the data is NOT live its delayed which renders it useless for a day trader.
No ability to trade form the chart or even view your positions on the charts.
No ability to close your position with one click, you need to re-sell the same volume in the opposite direction which is painfully slow and useless for a day trader.

I initiated withdrawal in the minimum amount but I could no longer access my account, my account was BLOCKED, THIS A SCAM! blocking the account after initiating withdrawals?
