๐Ÿ“ WhitePaper 2.0 Adjustments ๐Ÿ“

One of many first gadgets addressed within the VeChain whitepaper 2.0 is its consensus algorithm. VeChain makes use of Proof-of-Authority or POA. VeChain isn’t glad with its efficiency and insists it might do higher.

Because of this, the mission is engaged on a next-generation PoA consensus mannequin that may assist high-volume, enterprise enterprise options.

VeChainโ€™s VeVote platform is a approach for VeChain to supply clear, immutable, and decentralized voting system to its stakeholders.

The governance mannequin shall be improved and the next modifications shall be made:

1. Redefined classes of VeChain stakeholders
2. Develop a streamlined voting course of for these stakeholders

  1. Now, as far as VChain is concerned. I agree mostly with your analysis in terms of the sector, tech development, committed team and their response to the theft. However, I am doubtful about their tokenomics, and their decentralization in the context of their primary target segment i.e. enterprise customers looking to implement VChain in their supply-chains. Let me explain my doubt. Particularly in the supply chain sector, there are some serious heavy weights already in the play – with IBM Food Trust or Microsoft Azure. Mind you, both IBM and MS offer "private" blockchain solutions, as against a "public" blockchain offered by VChain. Is there a compelling reason for enterprises to go for a "public" blockchain instead of a private one when implementing this in their supply chains? Further, when it comes to notable enterprises, I don't see how VChain can compete with the likes of IBM and MS in winning over clients. Secondly, if mostly enterprise customers are going to be part of the VChain blockchain network, what incentive would they have to collaborate amongst each other for the healthy governance of the network? I won't be surprised if VChain becomes a potential acquisition target for the likes of IBM of Microsoft in 2 to 3 years. What would that mean for its tokenomics? Having said all this, I'm super excited about this project but at the same time an investment case is not entirely clear to me. I'll stop there and would love to hear back from you or others.

  2. Thank you for the great information. I got some VET little while ago. I am trying to find blockchain projects that are trying to solve real world issues and use case for long term investing. VET it has been doing quite well which surprised me as it doesnโ€™t seem to be talked about much.Sunny Lu did an interview on digital asset investor recently VET seem to have an eye on many other things besides supply chain. I love the use case for VET. Looking to invest more with DCA. Are there other blockchain solutions for supply chain besides VET?

  3. Solid Guy, as always. I have been following this and done some research lately, your two videos helped. I have allocated some exposure and gone long, looking to DCA during the next few days/weeks. Congrats on the channel, as always. You are the most thorough, professional Blockchain channel out here and your Newsletter is Colossal!!

  4. If i I get things right. Companies that want to use this service should by vet tokens just as regular people thant want to earn money on them?
That is a question about crypto in general. If that is right why should they bother with something that is voilatile and has a limit amount? I would pay the company to make me a blockchain that is made only for me. Your explanation would be highly appreciated. Best regards

  5. Got my sub for sure, I try to research on my own but sometimes I feel I donโ€™t have time after work and having a new born so itโ€™s nice to be able to rely on someone honest to give their time doing this research for the people! Keep it up.
